Ladies n Gents!
It's that time of year again when we're all getting ready for our favorite Regional Event, Recompression!!!
I have taken on the responsibility this year of once again organizing the fire show. If you saw last years. . . I aim to top it somehow! This year I"m hoping to work in conjunction with Disaster Area and their flame effects. I want to choreograph something between us (fire performers) and them that will be astounding, breath taking and moving. I've already got some amazing performers on board for this and my mind is working thru the possibilities!! OH Golly it's going to be exciting!!!
I'm in search of fire performers of all skills and variances please~!!!! Poi spinners, staff spinners, fans, swords, yo-yo's, fire breathers, fire farters (ha just wanted to make sure you were paying attention), torches . . . whatever! I want it all!
REQUIREMENTS::::
~A mandatory Saturday practice from 2:30 till 4:30pm---this is the ONLY time we have to work everything out.
~Sobriety for all of Saturday until after the show. I'll make it worth your while I promise ;)
~A sense of humour. Why? Because we're funny.
Please send an email to fire@recompression.com with your name and your toy(s) of choice. Please rate yourself on a scale of 1 to 10 in regard to skill....1 being the worst and 10 being the best. This is so I have an idea of the skill level I'm working with as I don't always know you in person. I also don't write the 'script' until I've got the majority of people on board!
I will send everyone a script before the big day so we have an idea of what we're aiming to do. We can discuss costumes blah blah via email before hand so we're ready.
I look forward to hearing from all the fire performers out there! Please feel free to pass this out to all interested parties!
